Rebajan la resolución de diseño, no sé si realmente del conjunto y con carácter homogeneo, pero la "explicación" que se les ha ocurrido da grima:
Basically, pixel-perfect means that when we display a 2D texture, each pixel in that texture is represented by a single pixel on the screen, resulting in an image neither stretched nor compressed. The way our art department designs assets is the way they look in the actual game.
