we had to jump on the Dreamcast heavily this last month or so to finalise it, but now it’s complete we can focus all of our efforts on the Neo Geo. Fortunately our codebase shares a lot of common code and a number of the features and changes from the Mega Drive we implemented for Dreamcast also benefit the Neo Geo.

I blame Cuphead for making me want to design elaborate boss battles. The bosses of all my previous games have been more simple, and took a lot less time to design.

Although the game is obviously not ready yet, we wanted to get the full page up in advance in coordination with our recent big reveal - we've partnered with a publisher, Top Hat Studios, and will be bringing the game to console as well with their help!
